What it teaches
Most law of attraction material gives you three steps: ask, believe, receive. This training spends its fourteen sessions on what sits between those steps. It covers how to define what you want precisely, how strongly you believe you can have it and how to raise that, why a stated goal is often cancelled by an opposing thought you are barely aware of, and how your state when you set an intention affects the result.
It also deals with teachability, the idea that your willingness to learn and to accept change rises and falls, and that most people stall because one of the two is low.
How it compares
Against the teachers of The Secret, the difference is structure. Proctor explains the paradigm. Hicks explains feeling. Canfield lists principles. This course is closer to a curriculum, with ideas that build from session to session, and it rewards a second listen.
The public record on Kevin Trudeau
You should know this before you register. Trudeau was a prominent infomercial author whom the Federal Trade Commission pursued for years over his marketing. A federal court held him in contempt over infomercials for a weight loss book and ordered him to pay $37.6 million. In 2013 a jury convicted him of criminal contempt, and in 2014 he was sentenced to ten years in federal prison. He left federal custody in 2022 and has returned to teaching. Earlier, in the early 1990s, he was convicted of larceny and credit card fraud and served time in federal prison.
The FTC cases concerned how his books were advertised. They were not about this training. Readers will weigh that history differently, and you should weigh it yourself.
What it costs, honestly
The audio and e-book are free. After you register you will be offered paid products, and membership of the Global Information Network sits further along. You can take the free course and buy nothing.
The verdict
The strongest free training we have reviewed, from an author with a record you should read first. Listen to the opening session before you decide anything else.
